Ann Silversides began her career in newspapers and works as an independent journalist, writer, broadcaster, and editor specializing in health policy. She has taught university, created radio documentaries, and written for many publications and research institutes. Her book AIDS Activist, Michael Lynch and the Politics of Community chronicles the early history of AIDS in Canada. Ann is a graduate of U of T (BA & MA) and Carleton University (BJ) and lives outside Perth Ontario.
