HC Tutors

Thank you for taking the time to be a Faculty Tutor for the Integrated Clinical Experience:Health in Community (ICE:HC) curriculum. This component of the program is designed to challenge medical students in years 1 and 2 to understand the social determinants of health, the role of the physician in society, and community engagement. It is a longitudinal two-year curriculum.

In addition to the details provided in the ICE:HC Tutor Manual, below we have provided additional resources for new and continuing tutors.

HC EduCafes

Prior to each tutorial, there will be faculty development and discussion regarding the upcoming tutorial.

  • 12:45-1:30 for St. George Tutors
  • 12:30-1:30 for MAM Tutors

New Tutors – The Essentials of Teaching HC

This section provides an ICE:HC overview video to introduce you to the curriculum. Recommended articles and readings will be sent to you before each tutorial.
